WICS is a non-profit 501 (C) (3), non-sectarian, charitable, educational and community oriented corporation, serving King County since 1974, helping widowed men and women who are dealing with the death of a spouse or partner.

WICS provides a supportive environment and service for the adjustment to the loss of a spouse or partner by death and transition into life as a single person.

Because everyone’s grief is unique and each person copes in their own way, WICS offers a variety of services to widowed people, including:

• Information and referrals
• On-going Support Groups
• Telephone Support with widowed volunteers
• Monthly Newsletter
• Social Activities
• Yearly weekend retreat
