When a Spouse or Partner Dies... Our experiences can be difficult, overwhelming and isolating, with profound feelings of loss, loneliness and uncertainty. As a life-altering event, everything that was familiar in our lives now changes, and new efforts may be needed on the path of Healing. WICS WICS (Widowed Information and Consultation Services) is a non-sectarian, non-profit, self-help support organization run by widowed people for widowed people of all ages. If you have lost a spouse or partner to death, WICS offers support from others who are facing similar issues.
